  11. Astronaut Ken Cameron, KB5AWP, has been named Director of
  12. Operations-Russia and manager of NASA operational activities at Star
  13. City and at the Russian control center at Kaliningrad.
  14.  
  15. He will work with Russian Space Agency engineers and flight
  16. controllers on the US-Russia cooperative space program, including
  17. supervising NASA astronaut training at Star City and developing
  18. plans and procedures to support joint space shuttle-Russian Mir
  19. space station flights and space station development.
  20.  
  21. He is expected to command one of the early shuttle docking missions
  22. with Mir.
  23.  
  24. Cameron, 44, has flown on two SAREX shuttle flights, STS-37 in 1991
  25. and STS-56 in 1993.  Both these shuttles were "all-ham flights."
